Rate your managers

I feel that I had a great relationship with my managers at Dairy Queen. My first two managers I would still consider friends and my new manager now and I work well together.

Suggestions for the CEO

I remember in one interview I had with my boss, I made a suggestion that we have a list for stocking so that the more important items were more heavily stocked for the busy nights. That helped tremendously in a rush.

Advancement opportunities

I was never asked directly to become a shift leader, although it was always open for me to ask for the position. I felt that I was stacked with many other responsibilities in my life at that point, including school and ap classes, that it would have been too overwhelming. I did, however, do my absolute hardest job at just being an exemplary crew member and helped shift leaders/managers in any way I could.

Suggestions for the CEO

This is just something little, but the owner of the store likes to use the old brooms that are made with straw instead of ones made with plastic, so most of the time we are pretty much just sweeping up the broom and I have suggested that we use the ones made out of plastic so it would be much easier. The owner declined though, saying those are the brooms he has used since he worked there when he was younger so he would just like to keep it that way.
