It prepared me because it gave me the opportunity to learn how to make new coffee and the process that it takes to make them. It showed me how much I enjoy serving coffee.

Job Duties

Some of my duties were of course making and serving coffee, working the cash register, handling and counting money before, between and after signing into a cash register, washing dishes, cleaning the back floor and front floor, stocking the front room and the storage rooms, cooking food, cleaning the stations, and most importantly taking care of customers with a smile on my face.

How did this career prepare you?

It prepared me because it gave me the opportunity to learn how to make new coffee and the process that it takes to make them. It showed me how much I enjoy serving coffee.

Pros

My co-workers. They made me feel compfortable in the environment, because I was new and had no experience at any dunkins franchise so they welcomed me with warm hugs.

Well reecently after starting my job, I applied for the college and now my classes clash with my old schedule.

My duty was to take the orders and help customers with any inquieries.

I think my communication skills got even better than before and I know that I can easily help the customers feel welcome.

Having to work with teenagers who are not motivated to their best.

I was a shift leader and would delegate tasks to crew members and make sure that all tasks were completed in an orderly fashion.

How did this career prepare you?

It taught me how to be more responsible and how to map out tasks in a more organized way.

I left because I felt that I had no room to grow and everyone was very rude to each other

I dislike the lack of advancement opportunities. I want to grow in a company and not remain in a position that takes away from what im able to achieve.

Summary

When I was younger I loved this job.I would meet new people everyday and make great friends. And still continuing. I never new so many different donuts. But I sure know every donut name (laughing). You get to taste, bake, and decorate different times of donuts and fancy sweets! But I am ready to move on to something different,

My manager was very unorganized and unprofessional.

I worked at the Cash Register, served customers drinks and sandwiches, kept the workplace clean, and took temperatures to make sure the food was fresh.

How did this career prepare you?

My main position at Dunkin Donuts was Cashier, so I got to interact with the customers more than anyone else, so it helps that at Whole Foods the workers are always interacting with the customers because thats what I loved about my past job!
