What did you dislike about working at IBM?

Sometimes the bureaucratic layers can be quite bothersome; number of people you have to carry with you before a decision can be taken. Because of that, projects almost always have to be really large sized and impact. Many smaller, yet meaningful steps, get lost in the process.

What did you enjoy about working at IBM?

As a program manager, my role was first strategic, second was execution of the strategy. I had to think of ways of increasing visibility, extending thought leadership and finally translating that into wins. I believe this has prepared for taking on the role at Vanguard Software.
