It taught me to respond quickly to customers and anticipate their needs, I learned a lot about interacting with different demographics of people and how to resolve a variety of conflicts.

It started off as a very rewarding job, but changes to management made it overall a negative experience. I would have liked to see more focus on customer satisfaction and less focus on getting customers in and out quickly.

The managers change nearly every six months, and so do the rules and regulations that they personally institute on the store.
I had several different duties throughout the years at kroger including bagging the groceries, cleaning bathrooms, ordering groceries for a department, stocking shelves, and closing the department for the night.
It was very long and difficult, but the time spent there helped me gain skills for later in life.

I really enjoyed everyone I did work for. I did most of the work for Beau Sefton and he and I had a similar sense of humor. Stacey Heiser was very kind and gave me interesting work related to what I am interested in. Hilary was hands off but provided good feedback.
I renovated the style in which the yearly research binder for Consumer programs were kept. Instead of reprinting it every year, I incorporated a "current as of" row of boxes so only those that need to be updated be reprinted.
No, I was only there for the period of the externship.
