WORK ENVIRONMENT

Working at AFNI :

I worked in the E-Commerce dept at the AFNI location on the South East side of town. The schedule was great M-F, 8-5 with time to spend with the kids on the weekend. My supervisor was very knowledgable and he was very helpful and the job was overall pretty easy with time to read in between calls. Unlike the first posting on this company my overall experience was positive other than the low pay. Eight dollars and fifty cents does not go far when you have children.

As far as an overnight shift which was mentioned in the first posting we did not have that shift in E-Commerce. In regards to the offline group for Verizon mentioned in the previous posting, I knew a few people that worked in that department an while they said you can get away with murder, if the boss is fond of you, they did not seem too happy since their was constant backstabbing going on, and I wouldn't recommend working there unless you like people smiling to your face and talking behind your back.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Working at AFNI:

I worked at this job for about six months total. The hiring process was simple and pretty quick. After filling out my app. online i did a phone interview and got hired rather quickly. I spent a little over month in training. The first trainer was very knowledgeable and helpful but then left and another trainer came in and didn't seem to care much about helping us.

I was hired for Universal project but some of the people called it the After Hours Video project? When we got on the floor it was a frustrating job because no one seemed to know what was going on. Only a couple of the floor walkers seemed to have a clue of what was going on. I had two coaches during my time. The last one was pretty strict on stats, and the stats where pretty tough to make sometimes.

I was told by some other reps that I should work the overnights or offline because the coaches are very easy going on the reps if they like you. But I ended up getting another job before I could apply for the offline positions or get an overnight position. My recommendation for anyone applying to AFNI South East location is to get on overnights or the offline positions, from what I heard you will get paid more and do a lot less work and if the sups like you, you can pretty much do whatever you want and get away with it.

Afni Salary and Benefits:
