When I applied and was hired in, no where in the details or orientation where we told that our shifts or pay would be based on how much we sold. It was advertised as an hourly job with ability to pick your shift. It was no expensive to work there because you didn't have to dress in any fancy way, most of the people working there were helpful and fun. When I first started I had a regular Mon-Fri days shift, when every couple months they review sales and you get to bid for the shift you want, unless you have major seniority and high sales, you will be working evenings and weekends. I was so angry, I was a single mother with 3 kids and this was not convenient for me at all. I ended up quitting after I requested a shift change due to unavailable child care for evenings and weekends. I was completely denied. Beware of alltel employment.
