It's an easy gig. Flatter people and tell them the look great, help customers find clothes, and work the register. Am I going to stay forever? No. Do I love my job as far as mall work goes? Sure.
$11 per hour plus an employer discount - 50% off full priced items and I think 10% off sale items.
Pros - Really cool laid back staff. Great discount. Internal promotion opportunities.
Cons - There is always going to be that coworker or manager you don't like. But overall i have no complaints.
$9.00/hr. Automatic .25 raise after probational period has ended. 30%, 50%, and 60% discount off of select items.
Pros: No more than 40 hours a week. (managers are hourly)

Cons: Hard to find good help.
My pay is 16.25 an hour.
My awesome co-workers are what made this job bearable. Customers can be difficult especially when things are busy on the weekends and there are not enough associates to help everyone. Awesome discount you can use at Old Navy and Gap too. My store use to have flexible schedules but this changed which is why I had to leave. I'm not sure if other stores are like this. You should ask before you make any commitments. One more thing they make you push that BR credit card really hard.
