I love everything about this job.My managers were nice and respectful. We had open door policy.

If your desperate for $ like myself you'll take it for the time being.
Pros: casual dress-jeans and white top but no sneakers.
Good products. 30% off which is better than some other retailers.
Cons: Minimal hours, pay is horrible, call in shifts and extended shifts are ridiculous. You can't plan anything because they MIGHT need you to
Come in or may need you to stay late for an extended shift. Asked off for 3 specific dates due to a family issue and was scheduled anyway. They want you to hound the customers. Who likes shopping and being asked questions every 2 minutes from 6 different associates? Not me!
Training also sucks, as in there is none, the job isn't rocket science though so you just fend for yourself.
$7.30

I was really excited to start my job at BBW, I even quit my other job just to dedicate myself to this one, worst decision ever. CONS- They promised me all these hours and only got put on the schedule one day a week for three hours and maybe one call in(which never happened). How anyone can make a living like that is beyond me, sorry but I have groceries I need to get and bills I have to pay. Also I hated the way they wanted us to approach customers, we had to basically attack them with upsales or else. We were considered doing bad if we did not stalk these customers around the store trying to get them to buy everything in sight.
PROS- Really good discounts, the management was nice, got lots of free presents from the company.
7.50 per hour

I love working at BBW. The managers are friendly and ready to answer questions. The schedule is online which is really convenient so I don't have to go in to work to find out when I'm scheduled. Call-in shifts are a bit annoying, but it's not that hard to call in an hour before just to check and my first couple weeks were almost entirely call-ins.
I wish the discount was better or able to be combined with promotions, but that's really the only complaint I have.

Working there sucked. Others say the dress is casual, but I thought it was the opposite. For a minimum wage job, I thought the dress code was ridiculous. Black pants, a white/black top, and dressy shoes. You had to look "pretty" or the managers would comment on how your dress isn't code. Also, no piercings other than your ears. I had to take out my nose ring before every shift, and if I happened to forget I was sternly reminded. The managers always seemed two-faced, and acted like you were a complete idiot. You're forced to shove products down guests throats, and be sure that they know about every sale the store is having at the time. You have a regular schedule, then you have certain Days off where your expected to call in, and ask if they need you. I though that was really dumb. It's not my responsibility to make sure your work shifts are filled. As another review said, it's like a cult. I'm currently working at another retailer who sees me for my abilities and drive, rather than how I look or my ability to act like a dits.
Minimum wage
Perks- A good discount, except you couldn't use it on sale items or clearance which pretty much makes it useless

The only basic "pro" I can say about working there was that the dress code was casual. There were several "cons". Your hrs. were posted online, but when you got into work, you found out you were "extended" beyond what your hrs. were supposed to be. You were made to call in on days you weren't scheduled to work to see if they needed you, so you could never make plans. The pay is slightly above minimum wage, yet they force you to sell so hard, you'd think you were making commission ( which you are not). The managers treat the sales associates with no respect what so ever. We were all just supposed to be robots and adhere to strict, and overly rigid company policies at all times.
I was paid slightly over minimum wage and you could get a small discount, but it could not be combined with a sale. There were no other perks, benefits, etc.

The standard retail management job duties. Hire, manage employees, manage sales, etc.. Expect a very physical job...you work long hard hours. The holidays will have you working 14 hour days. Other than that it it a good culture and environment and casual dress.
40% store discount including discounts at other Limited brands stores. Benefits aren't too expensive. Base pay was 34,000 per year with chance for bonuses.
