I worked for Blinds To Go for a little over half a year. I originally joined the company in the hopes of moving up quickly in these hard economic times (advertise management by 6-8 months) with a company that seemed to genuinely care about it's employees. I was a manager previously and thought this would be a great fit. Once you're in, they simply give you the run around and generally don't give you factual and/or realistic goals/advice/feedback to help you advance your career within the company. You will be working with low caliber individuals and won't be doing much in the way of advancing yourself intellectually by joining this company. It is also definitely an underpaid and exhausting job (9+ hours on your feet the whole time (no sitting!), and no weekends off). But, if you just need something to get you by till something better comes along, a great full-time opportunity.
