I worked in the Internal Audit Department at the Lottery. It was a terrible place to work. It has an incompentent management staff that uses manipulation and intimidation as their management technique. Insults are frequent and positive feedback is rare, if ever. The State offers decent benefits, but the pay is below average when compared to the private sector. Location is in a seedy part of town with a strip joint next door. No decent eateries or places to shop on breaks. Management is cheap and will not pay for training. Employee turnover is frequent.
