The downside to working in branch management is the hours. You work a lot and coming in on Saturdays is normal.
The national average in branch management positions start off in the 40s usually and branch managers will start off in the 60s+. Higher cost of living cities pay more.

I've been working here for three months and I really can't complain about the money or the amount of work. I can though complain about the hours. Being manned 24 hours is a necessity so someone has to cover the night shift. After 3 months of working nights I think I'm starting to go even crazier. Which my friend thought it wasn't possible. Only one of the shift managers is a Micro-Manager. The other 3 that I've met are pretty easy going.
Right now they are undergoing some changes and mergers from Las Vegas and the new director seems to practice leadership by intimidation. I'm not really impressed by his leadership methodology and I can see there being a lot of unnecessary changes being made in the near future.
I will write an update as soon as I have more.
