Comcast is a big stable company with good pay, benefits and time off but moving up is not easy. It's very easy at Comcast to get stuck in the same role for a very long time. The company just doesn't really have a real people development strategy.
The pay is good but the the real pros are the benefits - medical, dental, and retirement. This position typically earns between $13-$16 [er hour.

Pros-
Good benefits - Medical, Dental, Vision
Free internet and TV
Cons-
Abrasive management
Disconnected and bizarre corporate direction
Very high stress on employees, the lower you are, the worse it is
Metric focused rather than logical customer first approach
Tech Support forced to push sales on upset customers
$12.45 per hour, 70 hours per year, $200 quarterly bonus'

Pros:
Halfway decent salary
Great location
Co-workers are great for the most part.
Awesome benefits
Cons:
Abusive and unsupportive work enviroment
This is NOT tech support job, it is just call center work (how many calls you take is what matters most)
Unreasonable and severe attendance policy
This job is all about call center 'metrics', resolution of technical issues and customer service is secondary.
Zero time between calls resulting in very heavy work load.
Excessive monitoring and you are clocked down to the second.
Just another call center ran like a sweat shop despite managers claim 'we are not like other call centers'.
Starting salary was 15.50 hourly.
2 weeks vacation time, but very difficlut to get the time.
They do give yearly bonus based on numbers.
You do get greatly reduced cable. internet and phone service.

SO its funny Comcast has such a high rating! They are sub contracted and rarely have good customer service. Lets roll the video tape.... I have known many employees who are scared to talk up due to fear of recourse...

Comcast is a great place to work. I've been here 8 years and have been promoted several times. It is a very exciting and dynamic organization.
Pros- Benefits. 401K. Strong healthy company. Solid executive leadership.
Cons- Super fast paced and constantly changing, some people don't like that.

There is a lot of team work at Comcast. You’ll feel like you are part of a family.
Comcast prefers to promote from within so there is room for advancement. Average pay with decent benefits. It’s a nice place to work.
