WORK ENVIRONMENT

Working at Continental Airlines:

I work for a contract company called USG who is contracted for Continental Airlines. We are the ground agents that do most of the work. We check passengers in, work the gates, take claims and make reservations. Our Supervisors are the Continental employee's. I understand we are contracted but we are being treated like slaves. We bust our butts in the lobby to get all the passengers checked in. The only time the Supervisors come out is if the manager ask's them to which is 2% out of the year. There too busy sitting in the there offices sending e-mails or watching tv in the break room. And what really pisses me off is that they get an incentive check for an ontime performance and we dont when we the contracters are getting nothing when we are the ones pushing the flights out early. And one of Continental's modows are working together. When ever they have parties they hide there food in the back offices and bring out the left overs for us. This is not right. This is one of the worst companies i have ever worked for in my life. Pay starts at minimun wage $7.50

WORK ENVIRONMENT

team-oriented, fast-paced, flexible schedule

Working at Continental airlines:

being a flight attendant is the best job i have ever had, it gives me the flexibility in hours, days, and special days off that i need. i get to travel all across the country and visit other countries that i would not have done on my own. My family also gets to travel at their leisure, especially last minute weekend trips. I get to meet people from all parts of the world and find out about the city or country that they are from. Most months my job allows me to have anywhere from seven to 12 days off in a row, so each month i feel like a have a mini vacation. The other plus to doing this job is that you are always working with different people seeing that our company has over 9.000 flight attendants, so every trip that you do is an adventure. I LOVE MY JOB.

Continental Airlines Salary and Benefits:
