The recruiter tried to make it up with the benifits and discounts the company offer. Oh and the 2nd offer to me was 10.80 per hour. What a big different! I have done sells for 11yrs so their loss! WORK ENVIRONMENT

Working at Cox Communications:

They hire you then dont give you any training, they expect you to get all the leads by yourself. They hire managers with no outside sales experience.

The average rep lasts about 6 months. The VP of sales name is Randy Chandler and hes a joke. Their director of sales name is Tim Jenny and hes also a joke. Their comp plan is impossible, they promise commission and you wont ever see it.

Cox Communications Salary and Benefits:

They have a write up plan that if you don't sell 80% of your quota every month you get written up, half the sales people are stressed out.
