COMMENTS:

My FA was a jerk....he was able to get a good start because his mother gave him all her accounts. I worked there almost 11 years....I was a dedicated worker. I couldn't get along with the spoil brat .....He had things handed to him....I had to quit because I could not get along with him. It was his way or no way.

old-fashioned, political, high-pressure

COMMENTS:

Unreal and unrealistic objectives, HR and Team oriented classless comments.
100 best places to work???? are u kidding me>???? Woman oriented.. ??
where, who when... ? Numbers only... no real HR Training or care about family, kids or schedule... knock on 100 doors a day... ??
From 800 a week to 300 a week in 3 months.. no help on street... push to get accts open and no real plan in place to keep them.. work out of basement.. ?? Promises of office in 3-4 months are garbage...
Skip it.. you will have less ulcers. Try Locals or Met, Pru they care more about working moms and pay way more up front.

COMPENSATION:

800 week to 300 week after they bleed you

COMMENTS:

Edward Jones has some slick recruiting material but don't fall for it. You have to go above and beyond to earn around $60,000. This is how it works; new people come aboard, open up accounts, realize they don't make as much as they thought and leave.
Edward Jones keeps the accounts, hires someone new, and starts over.
The turnover at EJ is sky high.
