I wish I had never heard of this company, let alone applied to it. I was hired in and given no guidance as to what was expected of me even after I asked on numerous occasions. I also asked for a list of responsibilities before I hired in and was told "We don't really do that". That should have been a sign. They run their production off of excel spreadsheets and no ERP system. They rush new products out in 4-6 weeks or less without testing and wonder why they have quality issue's. Everything is a rush and not thought out. The company is comprised of mostly "20 somethiing" individuals with little to no manufacturing experience.
They move people around the organization on a weekly basis changing their responsibilties with it with no clear objective. Each department works independantly of another with no cohesive goals in mind. If you do try and set up a meeting with the minds, you hear comments like "there's a lot of money sitting in this room doing nothing right now" from management and ownership.
Their Manufacturing directors are a joke with no management skills to speak of. If you're not a member of the president's church, you might as well watch your back. If you are, you're pretty much guaranteed a job no matter how much you fail. They like to tout themselves as a "Christian company" but it's all a facade.
The company is run by 2 "salesmen" with little understanding of manufacturing. They are very hand's off in the day to day business of their company. They are only concentrated on sales figures and who to blame next in the company for their overstated promises to their customers. They have no procedures in place from an organizational standpoint (i.e. TS/ISO standards). Upper management tends to bully their subordinates.
Starting salary was below average but a raise from my previous employer. Benefits after 30 days was nice with vacation kicking in after 6. Last year was the first year they gave out Christmas bonuses which were in cash.
