I absolutely have to agree 100% with everything the previous reviewer said about Gayot Publications - this place is shit!
This place is not your usual 9-5 work place, expect to get there at 9 and stay until 7, you're expected to take your lunch early before the bosses arrive cause the moment they get in they need you right at their side. If you miss that window for lunch, don't expect to get to take your break -_- I hardly had time to move my car - there is no employee parking, you're expected to park on the street even though the building provides parking
The bosses were very unprofessional - stuck up - rude - and sometimes outright insulted me to my face.
The over the top micro management sessions are correct! Boss 1 would make it so nothing was done a step ahead of him, this is possibly why nothing in the office gets done. I would get called into his office a million times a day to review work that I was just given 5 minutes ago >_
LOW PAY! - NO PERKS!

The best thing about Gayot Publications is that it is a good example of an awful workplace. On average, an employee lasts about 2 months before they quit or get fired. I've seen bosses scream and throw temper tantrums at their employees. Employees can also expect ridiculously low and unfair wages (women get paid less) and to get labeled an "independent contractor" so you have to pay their end of taxes (even though they have you come in daily for hilariously over the top micro-management sessions). Don't expect anything close to professionalism in this cheap-o place. North Korea might have a nicer working environment.
low pay, unprofessional managers, little to no organization, high turnover
