General Mills is big on recruiting from major universities. They do this so they can get young adults who only know the General Mills way of doing things (it’s a way of control) General Mills wants individuals that will follow instructions and work hard. If you’re creative or like to think outside the box, you will not enjoy working for this company. I would describe the company culture as rigid and close-minded. I’m happy to say the company pays well. There are opportunities to advance but you must be willing to relocate often.
