Pros: Very smart people. You get to work with the best and the brightest. Work on anything you want as a 20% project. After saying you worked at Google you can choose your next company.
Cons: Hard work can go unrecognized. Poor evaluation and feedback process from managers. Google has a poorly structured management system. You will learn more than you could imagine but career advancement options are somewhat limited.
