If you are a nurse looking for home hospice work, look in to this place! The nursing director and medical directors are top-notch and work together extremely well. Nurses manage their case loads very independently; no stats or quotas. Very supportive team. They bend over backwards to help each other out. Expanding rapidly so having some growing pains with space, etc. Will need to work some weekends and rare nights. Orientation is adequate but not superlative. So if you have some home care or hospice experience, you will get acclimated quicker. Other team members (chaplains, HHAs, social workers, etc) are all expert at their respective positions and all work together very well. Supportive of education; encourages certification. This was one of the best positions I've had in my 30+ years as a nurse. The work is demanding but it was a joy to go to work in the morning.
