The best employees are the ones promoted unlike other companies. Technical expertise is prized and respected. Intel at least attempts to have diverse work force.

Cons: Long hours are required. Your hard will be physically and mentally taxing. No choice on the projects you work on. Employees are rated on the company value of your assigned projects instead of how well you meet your objectives. Bureaucracy at the high levels.

Pay: Salary and benefits are comparable to others in the industry.
