Working at MetLife:

Good training allowance that helps you get started and solid training. The brand is well known and the products are honestly pretty good for clients. Applications and underwriting are much more complex than they need to be.

Metlife Salary and Benefits:

Commission based so you need to have business written up on a regular basis. My pay comes in above $40,000 and I work very hard for every bit of it.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Working at MetLife:

MetLife provides good lead generation, training and schedule flexibility. Your encouraged to sell just metlife products which is a drag. Most don't survive this job for long.

Metlife Salary and Benefits:

Commission only job. Don't expect to make much at all. I was earning in the low 40s and I worked my butt off.
