There are few companies where one can find an enormous amount of personal satisfaction in knowing that your product and the work that you do helps people, families, companies and the economy. The company does not do a great job by accident; there is a lot of competition in this rapidly changing industry that will make your company doors close if you're no good. But this little company not only has proven to be a match for its much bigger competitors, it dominates the market in the Greater Milwaukee area and gaining ground in its DC and Minneapolis markets.
Why? I can honestly say it is because of a combination of the following:

They work hard, they work smart, produce impressive results and quite fun to work with! They are highly engaged, and do not look at this as a nine-to-five job. The company is full of high achievers and I find it refreshing to work with people who I can count on to match my efforts and move my team forward.
Strong Leadership. Just as good products do not happen without good talent, the success of the company did not happen without smart management and steadfast leadership. This little company that can - steered through the tech bubble and the recent recession not by sheer luck, but rather by deliberate design, shrewd planning and the managerial courage to make tough decisions when the situation calls for it.
High Standards. The company unabashedly shuns mediocrity. It demands excellence and nothing else. Excellence is a hard act to follow but it is the only way the company stays ahead of its competitors. If you are tired of working at places where passable is good enough; then this is the right place for you.
Merit-based Culture. People take out what they put in. So you do need to work hard to succeed here; but in return, the company is most generous in rewarding its employees through above market compensation and benefits, promoting from within, and various formal and informal ways it recognizes employee achievements.
