WORK ENVIRONMENT

disorganized, political

Working at Morgan Stanley:

The pay isn't nearly as competitive as it used to be and insurance costs have risen. The career progression process is not functioning the way it should.

Morgan Stanley is still a well known name and that alone is worth something.

Morgan Stanley Salary and Benefits:

Low to mid six figures.

Working at Morgan Stanley:

Company is highly political and managers with status can be unprofessional. Very uptight culture. Overall, not the best experience.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

conservative, entrepreneurial, fast-paced

Working at Morgan Stanley:

It's a top firm all the way around. The training and opportunities are plentiful. It's a great place to start off. I would say the above doesn't apply to retail brokerage yet.

Morgan Stanley Salary and Benefits:

The pay is competitive. Bonuses will usually be a minimum of 150k for a vp.
