THE GOOD: Independence as a Mygrant Glass delivery driver at times was great when the weather was nice. No form of a company dress code whatsoever. Office personal (not including management) were very helpful at times. THE BAD: VERY UNFIT WORK VEHICLES. You will be expected to drive in impossible snow/ ice road conditions with truck tires that are comparable to racing drag slicks with belts coming out. When you bring this to the attention of management you will be labeled as a problem employee. Do not be a minority and get hired by these people (At least in the western, Pa area). On a daily basis you will be insulted and harassed by the regular employees being called names within the warehouse like **** or **** just to name a few. The shame of this is its usually the warehouse supervisor who joins in with the regular employees in the racist name calling. When this horrible treatment is brought to the attention of management they will hold a meeting to address it but five minutes after the meeting the warehouse employees will be right back at it ten times worse than before. Even when a complaint is made to corporate it will never be reviewed as the district manager will make sure it never gets past him. No employee in this warehouse has received a raise in YEARS no matter how well they perform. Mygrant Glass managers feel the needs of the company always comes before ones family. ADVICE TO MYGRANT GLASS CORPORATE OFFICE: The way the warehouse in Pittsburgh, Pa is managed is a lawsuit waiting to happen. Safety rules are only enforced when corporate bosses are in town. Your manager may be able to get this location back under control if he would stop using company time to play hockey on roller skates throughout the warehouse floor with a few favorite employees slapping the puck into already damaged windshields. If corporate would hold secret, private interviews with every employee at this location about whats going on during work hours I know a few managers who would be fired immediately.
