Network Promotions is an agency that promotes anything and everything across the spectrum, from food samples to bath and body products to non-profit organizations and their events.

Doing promotions works great for all those with a hectic school schedule, internship or are just looking for a side job. Acceptance of each promo is not obligatory, so there are no hard feelings there from the agency's side. Sometimes though, it is very beneficial to help the agency through their difficult times (i.e. when a talent does not show on-site) because when the best paying promos are available, they will call you first before others. You MUST keep track of all your records to secure payment - this is VERY important because if there is no proof of your work or you miss their deadline they will not pay you! No excuses! Promos range from $9/hr - $30/hr depending on the client and the amount of work required. Also, these promotions are available in almost every city so you can always count on having a job.

As an event manager (and working inside the office in Houston) your HR abilities increase dramatically along with your multi-tasking skills. You are the main contact with your project clients, you find the correct talent that not only fits profile but will also achieve the promo successfully, you keep track of their timesheets and paperwork, turn in everything to the clients and make sure the talent receives payment. Also, four out of five times you must be on-site for large promotions to meet with the client. This is true for every project, and you probably work on about five projects simultaneously.
