When i first bagan working at the O.L. Willards company it was great. The workers were friendley, it was an incredibley laid back place, and the customers were fantastic. Granted i had a whole 15 minutes of official training in an area of work i had no idea about. Another employee who wasnt supposed to be training me showed me everything i needed to know.
However, after a few months of working for this company, i came to find out a few things. Some workers were incredibly great to work with. Others were very uptight, unprofessional, or simply rude. After a while it seemed that if you weren't "in the circle" Then you weren't treated equally. The managment talked behind their workers backs, called them names and sometimes even made fun of them right to their face.
I had made the desicion to simply quit after having been yelled at, under-trained, been made to feel incredibley uncapable of doing my job, and even a little sexually harassed. It was a perfect place to work, until they reilized that I wasn't just going to sit back and take the abuse.
Starting rate was $8.00. Had no vacation time. Everytime I asked for a day off they usually laughed at me then said no. I would end up working at least half the day. I had taken two sick days in my time workig there and when I came back some of the other employees treated me poorly and ignored me completley for weeks.
