COMMENTS:

Back in the early to late 1990's Qualcomm was great company to work with, it provides you with all the tools you need to get the job done and they have great benefits some good and talented people. But nowadays, you will only survive in the company if you know "higher up " (i.e. low employee number). You also need to be good at the "political game" if you want to keep your job. You're better off staying inside your office, yes they give each employee an office of their own, than expose yourself to stand up to what you think is right against management or be in the next list of lay-off.

There are sharp and talented people but there are also those who are in the company who got it because they have "friends" inside and they know how to rub each others back. Long gone are the days of integrity and honesty, it is now "to each his own".

COMPENSATION:

$85K, 4 weeks of vacation, bi-yearly increase in salary (if company has money to spare)

COMMENTS:

Very bright people and cutting edge technology and products. The work you do will make a difference and the company is very forward thinking regarding their business. Many perks come with the job but the hours stretch into the evening far too often.

COMPENSATION:

Comes out to around $116,000.
