Working at Santa Barbara Hematology/Oncology Medical Group:

This place is great depending on where you work. They have had a lot of lay-offs/fires in the last two years. They also have a history of giving people a job, that person notifies their work, and then they tell that person they really don't have the job. The company would be better off if they didn't have their current Administrator. Who is very forgetful and many staff know this. They often have to repeat themselves and make sure they notify by email for record purposes. The doctors are wonderful but they are busy with patients, as they should be, but staff dont want to bother them with the Admin problems. Actually, when staff have brought Admin problems to their attention, they usually get reprimanded for being cruel to this Admin. A lot of problems have remained unseen because of this. So, I like it for the most part but I would take another secure job in a heart beat. Wage is better than most doctor offices in this location but bonuses dont happen and salary increases are freezed often. If you get a job here, make sure you start off at a high salary to begin with. Usually, staff has to threaten to leave before they get another wage increase.

Santa Barbara Hematology Oncology Medical Group Salary and Benefits:

Funny staff, highs and lows of work pace, kind doctors, Admin not great (you are always wrong before the Admin is wrong mentality)
