It's hard to describe SHPS without sounding like a rant. Basically, the building is full of dust and mold with no ventilation, so right off the bat everyone there is not a happy camper. Although each individual employee may be quite nice, there is little to no socialization there - people keep to themselves and most look quite miserable - maybe it's just the air.
You'll never see hide nor tail of upper management - we don't know where they are, who they are, or what they look like with the exception of slap on the wrist emails every so often.
SHPS is not a happy place to work. It is on the opposite end of the spectrum. Do yourself a favor and look for a better environment to spend 9 hours a day in.
No perks except minimal pay, a few sick days & pto, and exhorbitant costly healthcare which pays out minimally. They did serve us up ice cream once in a while.
