The organization is culturally unable to plan. Emergency problems that are resolved are rewarded, so Managers allow issues to fester until a crisis brews then are branded a hero when then make their team work Friday night or the weekend.
Unfortunately, there are no leaders in the IT organization. IT staff is seen as expendable resources that are easily replaced. Management is unprofessional and treats seasoned employees as if they are fresh out of college. Politics and perception rule - data is ignored when a decision needs to be made.
If you a career minded IT professional steer clear as there is no IT career path at the company.
Pros - slightly better than average salary, good medical, great peer team.
Cons - no leadership, unprofessional, negative, punishment based culture.
