Working at Staples:

Benefits are good and the hours aren't terrible for retail though for the holidays and back to school of course you work longer but nothing compared to the holidays at other retailers.

Staples Salary and Benefits:

Salary and bonus came out to $36,000 for me last year.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

hierarchical, strict, fast-paced, disorganized, high-pressure, bureaucratic, unprofessional

Working at Staples:

The management style is ridiculous, good if you like being micromanaged or are a five year old

>no benefits
>the pay is very low, minimum wage
>no respect for new ideas
>training is near none existent
>no potential for growth
> disorganized from the store level up to main office
>they don't like you taking time off

Working at Staples:

The hours are flexible which is what matters to me. Everything else is good.

Staples Salary and Benefits:

$9.25 an hour. You can get benefits as a part-timer but they are really expensive.
