WORK ENVIRONMENT

cut-throat, fast-paced, high-pressure, unprofessional

Working at TitleMax:

Obviously you work in the corporate office. I began as a CSR, moved up to Assistant Manager, then on to Store Manager. It's constant pressure from District Managers to keep numbers at ridiculous levels. So there's huge pressure from the top. From the bottom, the pressure comes from customers wanting more time to pay. You, as a store employee, are squeezed in the middle of that. You will be lying, pushing, pulling, manipulating everything you can to keep upper management off your back. Plus, selling the cars to dealers is a shady business. Many DMs take kickbacks, as do some store managers.
Wasted my life there. Good money, but lose being a decent human being.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Working at TitleMax :

TitleMax Corporate Headquarters has the most advanced working facility in Savannah. This office is modern and has a very sleek, ergonomic design. There is a team environment and TitleMax encourages collaboration with an open floor layout. I feel that TitleMax is supportive of employees having a balance between work and personal life.

TitleMax is opening many stores nationwide per month, expanding in to new markets, and hiring a lot of employees. The company's annual revenue increases year after year, so if you do your job well, job security is definitely felt.

Because of the growth of the company as a whole, there are many opportunities with this here. Many current employees have the opportunity to grow with the company and move further up in their departments.

Our office is split up into three different buildings on the same square, which is a con because we do not get to see everyone all the time, and makes the corporate environment not feel as big as it is.

I think we could have more corporate team-building events after work – such as a softball team. I feel very involved with departments that I work with, but would like to get the opportunity to know people that I don’t work with on a daily basis. I think TitleMax could also partake more in philanthropic events to get the employees involved in the community and with each other outside of work.

Titlemax Salary and Benefits:

For the Corporate Office, employees have access to a group medical plan with dental, vision, and life options. There is a good 401k plan as well. We get a total of 12 paid personal days a year and 6 paid holidays.
