All I will say is I worked for the company before and then had the misfortune of coming back when the economy turned south. Actually before I quit the first it wasnt as bad. I had heard numerous stories about the place, but I ignored them figuring it was simply a case of sour grapes. Well at the end of 2009 everything turned south with this company. They took investigators salaries away due to the class action lawsuit put us on hourly and then started giving us less hours. Many of us were told to stick it out cause it was gonna get better. it actually got worse. More micromanagement more politics more cut throat more retaliation but alot less money. Your vehicle will suffer as they will see if they can get you to drive to cases 8-10hrs away and if you break down well youre just SOL.. I mean c'mon this company is national and they act like they cant afford airline tickets??!!!..... .not to mention the vehicle reimbursement fee went bye bye They took away all the perks that kept investigators sticking it out and started starving out the ones the managers didnt like. Very political, if you dont make friends there you will find managers that will retaliate on you for any and everything. Then out came the GPS tracking phones they supplied every with AFTER they screwed everyone into buying air cards on contract. Then they started this summer hiring managers to micromanage other managers investigators. Most of these guys are people that never worked much in the field but were hired due to their contacts with the insurance industry. Alot of these guys dont have much managerial experience and almost ZERO people skills. They will talk to you sideways and disrespectful and only care about results. If you are a brown noser and a yes man you will last for awhile, but the minute you start complaining about the long hours the huge drive times and the other sacrifices you are making they WILL target you. This company just got over a class action law suit for pennies for screwing over its employees and LOST!!! You think they would learn about their treatment of people based off that. I guess not..Now they are too busy trying to hide their assets in another company named Pinnacle Insurance which is the front for their newly formed SUI company, while they got to settle on pennies to the dollar for the malfeasance they committed and have went back to business as usual. Its ok they still have other suits floating out there. Point blank this company sucks the travel is good if you can get it without having to kiss ass for it. But overall this company is a shell of what it was when I started. High turnover??!!! yeah it sucks and its gonna get worse.......
it was 37,000 plus benefits but after the salary restructuring I didnt even make 30k last year.
