Starting salary is in the 50s. Bonus is around 11-13% You will receive a yearly raise around 1-2%. There are no stock options. You start off with 2 weeks of vacation and then 3 weeks of vacation after 5 years.
At Verizon, most decisions are made at executive level which can be frustrating. Anything below executive, you are just following and implementing orders/directives and not doing any sort of real business work. There seems to be many individuals with business degrees but not many with real business talent. Verizon does have decent pay and the benefits are great. Verizon is definitely a 9-5 kind of company. You don’t have to work very hard. The key to making at Verizon is look really busy, do some work and then go home.
