WSFS was my first banking experience, and like they say, the first is the best. I worked for WSFS for three years had opportunity to advance and learn more. I had a manager who really cared about me as a person and my goals and fellow associates who respected me. They did have aggressive goals which could make work stressful sometimes, but I really think I had a great team. We worked together to reach goals and had fun doing it. WSFS cared about it's associates with good benefits, flexible schedules, and recognition. We had all-associate events to recognize achievers and get each other excited about the organization. Hind-sight is 20-20, I look back now and realize the grass is not greener on the other side and wish I could still be with WSFS. Unfortunately, I live in NJ now and WSFS isn't located here. But if I ever move back closer I will certainly conscider WSFS again.
I started at arounf 22K a year and left making 29K, had all the holidays and 15 vacation/sick days per year. I also worked and was a student in school and they worked around my schedule and reimbursed me for tuition!
